Across the accredited 3-day course, IOSH Managing Safely delivers the knowledge needed for those in positions of responsibility to identify, evaluate and control workplace risks. This includes assessing the effectiveness and performance of the health and safety systems already in place across your organisation. IOSH Managing Safely is suitable for anyone responsible for other employees such as those in managerial or supervisory positions. The high-quality training IOSH Managing Safely provides you peace of mind, as you know your supervisory staff will always consider health and safety in the workplace. Course Overview: Module 1: Introducing managing safely Module 2: Assessing risks Module 3: Controlling risks Module 4: Understanding responsibilities Module 5: Understanding hazards Module 6: Investigating incidents Module 7: Measuring Performance Delivery methods: Virtual, classroom courses, or on-site training. Assessment: IOSH Managing Safely®️ is assessed in 2 parts: A Multiple-choice test of 30 questions. There are 60 points available and you need to score 60% to pass, so the pass mark is 36 out of 60. A Practical assessment, in which participants must show how to apply the knowledge they have gained throughout the course to real-life situations. You must complete the risk assessment within 2 weeks of finishing the initial course. An IOSH Managing Safely certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of both parts of the assessment.
